Thursday South Boston Indoor Field Hockey

Play Women's Field Hockey on Thursday nights right in the city. Started in Oct 2011 with 12 teams, this league is already very popular & will offer 3 sesions of play from Fall thru late Spring.

• 5 on 5 w/o goalies (modified sweeper rules w/ small 2'x3' goals)
• SMALL artificial turf field (100’ x 45’) without boards/walls. 
• Teams & individuals of all levels welcome
• 6 games, one per week, plus potential playoffs
• Games will start between 7 & 10pm 
• Two 25 minute running-time halves
• Games are officiated by a certified referee
• Shin guards, mouth guard required.  Eyewear is optional 
• Participants must supply the above and their own stick
• Team fee includes: team shirts, balls, potential playoffs and prizes to league champs
• Teams register 1 month prior to start date & save $50

BSSC Member Price: $70

*Team fee does not include the $20 fee per team payable to the referee for each game played (it is included for individuals).

• Individuals - Individual registration will be open in August. 

Space is limited, so register your team or sign up as an individual at least three weeks prior to the league start date.  Small groups of friends can play on the same team together, just mention it when registering and BSSC will pair you together based upon space availability
