Albemarle Field

251 Albemarle Road, Newton 02460 

 

  • Grass fields.
  • Football will play at the end of the complex near the lighted baseball field closest to Crafts Road.

 

Public Transportation:

  • Take Green Line to Woodland stop. Woodland is on Route 16 so just follow the directions below from Route 16, but it is a bit of a walk (2 miles or so).

 

From Boston or the Mass Pike:

  • Take Mass Pike West to exit 17 (Newton).  
  • Follow Washington Street for approximately 1/2 mile to Walnut Street.
  • Turn right at the light.
  • Follow 1/4 mile to Watertown Street.
  • Go left at the light.
  • Follow 1/4 mile to right Albemarle Road. 
  • Go right (Horace Mann School).
  • Field is on the right after the pool and baseball field.

 

From Route 128:

  • Take Route 128 to exit 21B (if going north) OR exit 22 (if going south) onto Route 16 East.
  • Follow Route 16 East to West Newton Square (approximately 2 miles).
  • At fork in road, bear left onto Watertown Street.
  • Go 1/2 mile down on left is Albemarle Road.
  • Go left.
  • Field is the right after the pool and baseball field.

 

 


 

 
Belmont Hill School
350 Prospect Street, Belmont 02478

 

  • Synthetic grass field.
  • Cleats are allowed.

 

Parking Tip:

  • Parking for the Jordan Athletic Center is the second parking entrance on the left.
  • The gym is on the right.  Field complex is to your left. 
  • BSSC utilizes the synthetic field that is furthest from the Athletic Center.

 

From Route 128:

  • Take Route 2 east (exit 29A) towards Arlington/Belmont.
  • Exit right onto Park Avenue (exit 58).
  • Follow Park Avenue to a small rotary and bear right, you'll see the school in front of you.

From Boston/Cambridge/Route 16/Fresh Pond Parkway:

  • Take Route 2 west towards Arlington/Belmont.
  • Take Park Avenue exit 58 (at the base of the long hill).
  • Turn left at lights onto Park Avenue.
  • Follow Park Avenue to a small rotary and bear right, you'll see the school in front of you.

Brandeis University, Gordon Field

415 South Street, Waltham 02154

 

 

  • Only water is allowed on this field.
  • No gum, sports drinks, food.
  • Please pick up your trash - tape, water bottles, everything.


Parking Tip:

  • Best place to park is in the larger lot near the Gosmer Center Athletic Facility.
  • Parking also available in the Commuter Rail parking lot on corner of South Street & Sawyer Road or along Old South Road.

 

Public Transportation:

  • There is a Commuter Rail stop at Brandeis.

From Mass Pike West:

  • From I-90 W take exit 15 for I-95/MA-128 toward MA-30/Weston/Waltham.
  • Keep left at the fork to continue toward Park Road. 
  • Turn right on Park Road.
  • Turn right at MA-30 E/Commonwealth Ave/South Avenue. 
  • Turn left at River Road/South Street.

From Mass Pike East:

  • Follow I-90 E toward Boston.
  • Take exit 14 for I-95 N toward NH - Maine.
  • Take exit 24 for State Route 30 toward Newton/Wayland.
  • Turn left at MA-30 W/Commonwealth Avenue/South Avenue.
  • Take the 1st right onto River Road/South Street.

Buckingham, Browne & Nichols School, (BB&N Grass Field)

190 Fresh Pond Parkway, Cambridge 02138

 

  • Grass field.
  • Located on Fresh Pond Parkway opposite Cambridge Reservoir between Huron Avenue and Poplar Road.

 

Parking Tip:

  • Parking is a dirt lot just before the field.
  • It is very difficult to make this left hand turn against 2 lanes of oncoming traffic, so be careful. 
  • You may need to pass the field and turn around.

 

From Route 2:

  • At the end of the highway portion of Route 2 East you will come to the Alewife T Stop.
  • Continue on Route 2 past two lights, up over the bridge, past Whole Foods & Dunkin Donuts, to the rotary.
  • Continue around the rotary to 9-oclock, following most of the traffic.
  • At the next rotary, approximately 200 yards, stay to the right and once out of the rotary immediately move into the left lane.
  • The field is on the left just past the next traffic light which is in front of the auto dealership and often blinking.

From BB&N School (80 Gerry's Landing, Cambridge):

  • Continue past the school with the Nicholas Athletic Center on your left.
  • After going through the light immediately in front of the school you will come up to a fork in the road with traffic lights at Mount Auburn Street.
  • Stay to the right and continue up the hill through two more lights; Brattle Street and Huron Avenue. You need to stay in the right lane all along this stretch.
  • Once past Huron Avenue (the field comes quickly, so be ready to turn right).
  • Continue down the hill and just after it bears to the right you will come across the field on your right.
  • Put on your blinker as you are going down the hill, if you don't you may get rear ended as you need to almost come to a stop to enter the parking lot.
  • Parking is a dirt lot just after the field.

 

Buckingham Browne and Nichols School (BB&N) Turf
Edward Field @ Franke

80 Gerry's Landing Road, Cambridge 02138

 

  • Synthetic grass field.
  • BSSC uses Edward Field @ Franke which is behind the Upper School building and to the left, next to the cemetery. It is the only field with lights.
  • Only water is allowed on this field.
  • No gum,  sports drinks, or food. 
  • Please pick up your trash...tape, water bottles, everything.
  • Storrow Drive, Memorial Drive, Greenough Boulvard and Fresh Pond Parkway all lead to the Upper School.
  • There are 2 port-a-potties on site that ALL players and guests must use.
  • No warming up on side fields.

 

 

Parking Tip/How To Walk To Field:

  • Best place to

    park is in the larger lot just past the last campus buildings.
  • After parking you should walk back towards the school and take a paved path just before the first building and walk between the school and the cemetery.

From Mass Pike:

  • Take I-90 (Mass Pike) to the Watertown (exit 17).
  • Follow Galen Street north towards Watertown Square.
  • Cross over the river and continue through the square onto Mount Auburn Street.
  • Continue approximately 2-1/2 miles on Mount Auburn, then bear right onto Gerry's Landing Road.
  • Follow Gerry's Landing as it curves around to the right.
  • The Upper School campus is on the right-hand side of the street.

Burr Playground/Bigelow School

142 Park Street, Newtonville 02458

 

  • Grass field.
  • Best access is via Waverley Avenue & Arlington Streets.

 

Parking Tips:

  • Some street parking on the surrounding streets of Waverley, Arlington, Park, Vernon & Tremont. 
  • Small parking lot at the school that is accessible from Park Street.

From Mass Pike:

  • Exit 17 Newton Corner:
    • If you're coming Westbound, cross the Pike around the hotel pass Centre Street and bear Right onto Washington Street.  
    • If you're coming Eastbound, after the exit ramp, pass Centre Street and bear Right onto Washington Street.
  • Once on Washington Street, take a right onto Waverley and go up the hill.

Daly Field

GPS ADDRESS: 10 NONANTUM ROAD, NEWTON


From Mass Pike:

 

  • Exit at Newton/Watertown (exit 17).
  • When you get off, follow the signs for Watertown. You will be on Galen Street.
  • Stay on Galen until you get to a light with a bus depot on the right.
  • Turn right at the lights. This is Nonantum Road.
  • Daly Field is about 1/2 mile down on the left.

 

From Storrow Drive:

  • Take Storrow Drive West.
  • Storrow Drive will turn into Soldier's Field Road. You will pass Channel 4, Staples, and Days Inn all on your left.
  • When you pass the IHOP, look for the flashing yellow light. Stay left. Do not cross over the Charles River!
  • At this point, Soldier's Field Road turns into Nonantum Road.

Dilboy Stadium

300 Alewife Brook Parkway, Somerville 02144

  • Synthetic grass field.
  • Player are not allowed onto the playing surface until the game before ends. When allowed onto field you may NOT walk on the track with cleats.
  • Treat Dilboy staff with respect & obey the rules of the facility.
  • Only Players are allowed on the track or field
  • Water is the only beverage allowed.
  • No food or gum allowed on the track or turf.
  • Cleats are not allowed on the track surface.
  • When entering and exiting the track and field please use tarp/mats only (Dilboy should only have ONE way on the field so they shouldn’t be moving cones etc to get on the field).
  • No one allowed on mulch and flower beds.
  • No one is allowed to hop fences to gain entrance to the stadium..
  • Teams must keep concourse open and clear for public safety at all times.
  • No ball playing on the concourse or locker rooms.
  • Teams must maintain cleanliness in locker rooms and bench areas. Carry in Carry out.
  • Each player can bring one bag onto field.
  • First game of the night bring goals on field, last game of the night take goals off field.
  • Absolutely NO Smoking or Alcoholic Beverages allowed in the stadium
  • Only Service Dogs are allowed in Dilboy Stadium
  • Teams are not allowed to warm up before their games on the grass or on the track
  • Spectators are not allowed on the track or the field.
  • Bathrooms are located underneath the bleachers.

From North of Boston:

  • Take 93-S.
  • Take exit 32 (Medford Square, Route 60).
  • At bottom of ramp, bear right.
  • At 2nd light, bear left.
  • Take next right (onto Route 16) heading towards Arlington.
  • Continue, passing Wild Harvest (on your left), U-Haul (on your left), at rotary go around and stay on Route 16.
  • Dilboy Stadium is just ahead on your right.

 

From South of Boston:

  • Take 93-N.
  • Take the exit labeled "Route 16" towards Medford/Arlington.
  • Continue on Route 16, passing Wild Harvest (on your left), U-Haul (on your left), at rotary go around and stay on Route 16.
  • Dilboy Stadium is just ahead on your right.

 

From West of Boston:

  • Take 2 East to Alewife.
  • Take a left onto Route 16 towards Medford/Arlington.
  • Go straight at traffic light at Mass Avenue.
  • The next traffic light contiue straight (Foodmaster on your right).
  • Dilboy Stadium is just ahead on your left.

 

Evans Field

1880 Day Boulevard, South Boston 02127

 

Public Transportation:

  • JFK/UMass subway station @ Columbia Road is approximately 2 miles away.

From the Mass Pike:

  • Take Pike East to exit 25 for South Boston
  • At top of ramp, follow signs for Haul Rd
  • Take a right onto Pumphouse Rd

  • Left on Summer St

  • Left on East 1st St

  • East 1st street ends take right on Farragut Rd The field is on your left behind Little League FieldYou can park on Farragut or continue and take a left on Broadway to William J. Day Blvd. and take a left. Parking available on William J Day Blvd or take a left on Shore Rd and park along that street.

  • Field is between Farragut, William J Day & Shore Rd. next to Murphy Skating Rink

From the North:

  • Take 93 South to exit 15 (Columbia Road/South Boston).  
  • At bottom of ramp, take left at lights.
  • Follow signs for South Boston, follow onto rotary, exit Rotary following signs for South Boston/Castle Island.
  • Follow rod (approximately 2 miles) until you come to Pleasure Bay.
  • Field will be on your left right next to a skating rink

 

From the South:

  • Take 93 North to exit 14 (Morrissey Boulevard/JFK). 
  • Follow Morrissey Boulevard and Bayside Expo, follow to South Boston/Day Boulevard/Castle Island.
  • Follow road 2 miles until you come to Pleasure Bay.
  • Field will be on your left right next to a skating rink.

 

Medford High School
Edgerly Sports Complex

489 Winthrop Street, Medford 02155 

 

  • Synthetic grass field.
  • Field is located behind Medford HS.
  • On Google Maps (click address link above) it's labeled as "Edgerly Sports Complex."
  • Only water is allowed.  No gum, sports drinks, or food allowed on the field.
  • Gym bags are also NOT allowed onto the field.
  • No smoking.  
  • Port-o-toilets are available.
  • Please follow the rules of the facility & obey the staff on duty.

 

Which Field Is Which?

  • 11v11: Field 1 is closest to the school. Field 2 is in the back.   
  • 7v7: Full size soccer field is divided into 3 small fields (Field 1 is closest to the school. Field 2 is in the back).  Field A is farthest to left, field B is in middle, field C is far right.


Parking Tips:

  • Option 1:
    • Once on school property, take first right and follow around the school, keeping school on your left. 
    • There are 20-30 spaces behind the school closest to the field. 
    • If these are full go back the way you came and park in the spaces on the side of the school.
  • Option 2:
    • Once on school property, go straight, keeping school on your right. 
    • Go back as far as you can and park. 
    • Edgerly Field is at top of the hill. 
    • You'll need to walk up the big hill.

From 93:

  • Take Route 93 to exit 33 (Rte 28), which enters Roosevelt Circle.
  • Follow Forest Street (2nd right) from Roosevelt Circle towards Medford Square.
  • Turn right at first light onto Lawrence Road.
  • Proceed to second light (end of Lawrence Road) and turn right onto Winthrop Street (Route 38).
  • Proceed past Temple Shalom to MHS on the right.
  • Turn right to enter onto school property. 
  • Edgerly Field is behind the High School.

McKinney Field
64 Faneuil Street, Brighton 02135

 

  • Please adhere to a “carry in, carry out policy” for trash.  If trash barrels are not available, please take your trash with you.

 

Parking Tip:

  • Park in the street.

 

From Boston:

  • Take Storrow Drive West past Turnpike & Harvard Square exits.
  • After Harvard Square exit, bear left at split onto Soldier's Field Road.
  • Pass Harvard Stadium and TV 4 on your left and Charles River remaining on your right.
  • Take Brighton Center/Watertown exit.
  • Stay to the left and go straight through the lights towards Brighton Center.
  • Cross over the Mass Pike (Stockyard Restaurant on your right).
  • At the 2nd set of lights take right onto Faneuil Street.
  • McKinney Park is 1/4 mile up on your left.

From Route 93:

  • Take Route 93 North or South to Storrow Drive exit.
  • Follow directions above from Boston.

 

From Route 128/Mass Pike via Allston/Brighton Exit:

  • Take Route 128 to Mass Pike East to Cambridge/Brighton exit.
  • Follow the Brighton/Allston exit, which puts you on Cambridge Street.
  • At 3rd set of lights, turn right onto Lincoln Street (one block after Merit Gas Station).
  • The road bends left and runs parallel the Mass Pike. Follow to end.
  • At lights (Lincoln Cafe on corner), take a left crossing over the Mass Pike (Stockyard Restaurant on your right).
  • At the 2nd set of lights, take right onto Faneuil Street.
  • McKinney Park is 1/4 mile up on your left.

From Route 128/Mass Pike via Newton/Watertown Exit:

  • Take Mass Pike East to exit 17 Newton/Watertown.
  • Go straight through two lights then take a left onto Charlesbank Road. Follow curve to the right.
  • At bottom of hill, the road will merge with Nonantum Street.
  • You will pass Daly Field on your left. Stay in the right lane.
  • Go through one set of lights, passing MDC Pool. 
  • Just before next set of lights, take hard right onto Parsons Street (Mr. Tux will be on your right).
  • Go to next set of lights and take a left onto Faneuil Street.
  • McKinney Park will be up the road on your right.

Rogers Park 
58 Rogers Park Avenue, Brighton 02135

 

Parking Tips:

  • Legal spaces are hard to come by, so start looking early and/or carpool.
  • Washington Street is a possibility.
  • Visitor spaces on Foster Street.
  • Limited parking available on part of Rogers Park Avenue (most of it is Resident only).
  • Do not park on Lake Street.  It is all resident parking and you will get a ticket.

 

Public Transportation:

  • Option 1:  Bus 57 - Watertown Yard Via Brighton.  Runs Kenmore (Green Line) to Watertown.  It stops on Washington Street at both Foster & Lake Streets.
  • Option 2: Express Bus 501 from the financial district that runs along Washington and stops at Lake.
  • Option 3: Express Bus 503 Brighton Center - Copley Square via Oak Square & Mass Turnpike.  Stops at Washington & Brock Streets.

From Route 128:

  • Get on Mass Pike East to Cambridge/Brighton exit.
  • Follow the Brighton sign.
  • At 3rd set of lights, take a right onto Lincoln Street.  Follow to end.
  • At lights take Left onto Market Street/Birmingham Parkway and go over Mass Pike.
  • Continue straight on Market Street.
  • At 4th light go right on Washington Street.
  • Take left on Foster Street.
  • Right on Glenmont.
  • Right on Lake Street then right on to Rogers Park Road (one way street).

From Storrow Drive:

  • Follow towards Newton. TV 4 on your left, look for the Brighton Center/Watertown exit.
  • Get off that exit staying in left lane, straight through the lights towards Brighton Center.
  • Follow this (Birmingham Parkway) thru 2 lights and over Mass Pike.
  • Continue straight on Market Street.
  • At 4th light go right on Washington Street.
  • Take left on Foster Street.
  • Right on Glenmont.
  • Right on Lake Street then right on to Rogers Park Road (one way street).

Smith Field
251 Western Avenue, Allston 02134

 

  • BSSC typically utilizes four fields at this location:
    • Smith 1 - Runs parallel to walkway near the basketball courts. Nearest end zone is close to the basketball court fence. Far end zone is on the softball diamond.
    • Smith 2, Smith 3, Smith 4 - Run perpendicular to Field 1.
      • Field 2 is closest to the fenced in Little League Field.
      • Field 3 is adjacent to Field 2.
      • Field 4 is adjacent to Field 3.

From Boston:

  • Take Storrow Drive West past Turnpike & Harvard Square exits.
  • After Harvard Square exit, bear left at split onto Soldier's Field Road.
  • Park in last lot on right (next to river) across from Harvard Stadium, carefully cross Soldier's Field Road and walk thru opening in fence to fields.
  • To use Western Avenue entrance instead, exit Storrow Drive at Western Avenue, cross Storrow Drive, and follow Western Avenue crossing North Harvard Street.  After passing North Harvard Street, start to look for street parking.  Field complex is ahead on right.

 

From Route 93:

  • Route 93 North or South to Storrow Drive exit.
  • Follow directions above "From Boston."

 

From Route 128/Mass Pike:

  • Take Route 128 to Mass Pike East to Cambridge/Brighton exit.
  • Follow the Brighton/Allston exit which puts you on Cambridge Street.
  • At 2nd set of lights, turn right onto North Harvard Street (at Hess Gas Station).
  • Turn left onto Western Avenue and start to look for street parking.
  • Field complex is ahead on right.

 

 

Veterans Field Complex, Fields 1, 2, 3, 4

385 Forest Street, Waltham 02452

  • Synthetic grass fields.
  • Restrooms on-site in building.
  • Only water is allowed on this field.
  • No gum, sports drinks, or food allowed.
  • No dogs allowed.
  • 4 full size soccer fields:
    • Field 1 = Nocera Field is the largest field closest to the parking lot.
    • Field 2 = Semenza Field*
    • Field 3 = Marcou Field*
    • Field 4 = Nolan Field*
    • *Fields 2, 3, 4 are side by side.

From Route 128:

  • Exit 28 Trapelo Road.
  • Head east at the top of the ramp towards Waltham. 
  • Follow Trapelo Road thru 2 sets of lights.
  • Continue straight on Trapelo Road and take a right at Forest Street (9th street on right after lights).
  • Veterans Fields will be on the left.

  

 

Victory Field
124 Orchard Street, Watertown 02472

 

  • Synthetic grass field.
  • Only water is allowed on this field.
  • No gum, sports drinks, or food.
  • No dogs allowed.
     

Parking Tips:

  • Park in the DPW lot at 124 Orchard Street.  DPW is directly next to field.
  • To access Victory Field, walk down Orchard Street along field's fence then turn right and enter field through first gate.

 

From Watertown Square:

  • Go East on Mount Auburn Street (Route 16) and take a left turn at the third light onto Common Street.
  • Proceed north approximately 200 meters and take a wide left turn onto Orchard Street (not the acute angled left turn).
  • Pass the field on your left and park in the DPW lot directly next to field.

From Cambridge:

  • Go West on Mount Auburn Street and take a right turn at Common Street (There's a small, old cemetary on your right at the corner).
  • Follow directions above.


From Waltham:

  • Follow Main Street (Route 20) East to Waverly Street (Ricci's Liquor Store on northwest corner and Mobil Station on southwest corner) and take left turn.
  • Proceed approximately 500 meters and take right turn at first light onto Orchard Street.
  • Park in the DPW lot on your right BEFORE the field.

From Points North:

  • Follow Route 2 South to exit 59 and go off toward the right.
  • Go to second light (Leonard Street) and take left turn.
  • Proceed through Belmont Center and take right turn onto Common Street after passing under railroad trestle.
  • Go south on Common Street through three lights, then up and down Oakley Hill.
  • At the bottom of the hill, take a sharp right turn onto Orchard Street.
  • Pass the field on your left and park in the DPW lot.

Winsor School

375 Longwood Avenue, Boston 02215 (parking lot address for GPS)

  • Synthetic grass turf.
  • No gum, sports drinks, or food allowed on field.  Only water is allowed.
  • No smoking or dogs allowed.
  • Please pick up your trash...tape, water bottles, everything!
  • Port-o-pottie on site
  • No entering the Lubin O'Donnell Athletic Center
  • Bicycles are not allowed inside field area.  There is a bike rack available near the entrance to the parking lot (along sidewalk closest to fence).

 

Parking Tips:

  • FREE PARKING in 90 car lot!
  • Visitors' parking is in front of the school. 
  • If no spots are available, additional parking can be found at:
    • MASCO Garage (located behind the school at 375 Longwood Avenue, next to Bruegger's and Winsor, $7 for night) or
    • Landmark Garage: enter in GPS: 401 Park Drive, Boston.  10 minute walk to Winsor, $10 for 1-1.5 hours.
