Full-time Membership & E-Marketing Manager

Great opportunity to work for Boston’s largest sports & social club, Boston Ski & Sports Club. BSSC is celebrating it’s 45th year in business and we are seeking an enthusiastic marketing person to run our membership division, develop compelling e-marketing programs and plan signature events.  If you are a natural promoter, efficient with graphic, web and social media tools and have the organizational skills to plan programs and run hi-profile events, we want to hear from you!  BSSC is conveniently located in the Brighton area and offers a base salary and benefits.  You will be working directly for the Marketing Director.  The following are the responsibilities of the position.

E-Marketing
• Create and send weekly, monthly and third party e-mails
• Manage and increase our subscriber base and open rates
• Research new technologies to grow our business:  blogs, streaming video, surveys and email options
• Maintain and expand BSSC’s social media presence for all aspects of our business
• Maintain a weekly social media calendar and post to key social media sites
• Increase our FaceBook fan base and effectively run successful FaceBook advertising campaigns
• Deploy on-line campaigns with new collateral development
• Create new content and update the BSSC website

Membership
• Responsible for annual revenue goal
• Effectively develop and run new membership initiatives & programs
• Manage membership renewal and retention programs
• Manage relationships with non-profits
• Organize and run member events

Event Planning & Promotions
• Responsible for annual revenue goal
• Develop promotions to increase event registrations
• Establish strong business relations with ticket partners & vendors
• Plan a minimum of 4 signature events annually
• Develop and oversee street team promoters

General
• Submit detailed monthly reports of on-line progress and event and promotional  plans 
• Monthly review of budget, issues, goals, competition and outreach efforts
• Contribute to general office tasks (we are a small office and everyone needs to pitch in)

League Coordinators

Responsible, service oriented people act as on site coordinators for Basketball, Dodgeball and Volleyball leagues.  BSSC coordinators play for free and often collect a small stipend for equipment set-up and overseeing the league. Experience and knowledge of the sport are necessary.
